CILT is working hard to provide support for every
Local Authority adviser in England as we prepare for statutory
languages at KS2 in all our schools.
An overview of our work is below.
The main online area for LA Advisers
is private and not available to the public. If you are an LA
Adviser and need access to these pages, please email joe.brown@cilt.org.uk
Our work with LAs includes:
Support at a training day (2010-2011 CILT
offer)
In 2010-11 the CILT Primary Team expects to
work with you and support you at a training day in your local
authority, giving you up to half a day's input, alongside you. For
more details please click here.
CILT National Conferences for LA Advisers
Once or twice a year, CILT organises a
national conference for LA Advisers to develop a shared
understanding of the issues.
News: The latest from the 7
February 2011 London conference.
LA Special Interest Groups
SIGs are a way for LA Advisers to work
together to develop best practice in primary languages, with each
SIG looking at a particular theme. Advisers are encouraged to join
one or more SIGs to collaborate with colleagues around the
country.
Information & networking
CILT endeavours to facilitate networking
across the country, the dissemination of information and the
distribution of key materials for colleagues in every
Authority.
Are you new in post?
