The CILT Resources Library is a unique collection of resources for languages and linguistics. We are based in London and open to the public.

The library is the ideal place to try out different primary languages resources, to meet with other teachers and to share ideas!

Use the left hand menu to find out about our full range of support, including free events, displays, specialist advice and group visits.

Opening hours

The library is open to the public Monday - Friday 10.30am - 5.00pm all year (closed weekends and public holidays). If you wish to visit outside normal opening hours, please email us to see if special arrangements can be made.

Library closure: in preparation for the annual Initial Teacher Education conference at CILT, the library will close at 14.00 on Thursday 18 November  and reopen at 10.30 Monday 22 November. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Nearest stations:

• Lambeth North (underground -Bakerloo line): 1 minute walk.
  Turn right out of the station and cross the road. Google map directions from Lambeth North.
• Waterloo (underground / mainline): 8 minutes walk.
  Leave the station via the south east exit (signposted Imperial War Museum) and turn right down Station Approach. Turn left into Lower Marsh before the underpass and then take a right down Lower Marsh to Westminster Bridge Road. Cross at the traffic lights and continue left down the road for 100 metres.
