Training recognised by the EU Comenius
programme
The EU Comenius programme funds in-service
training. As part of Europe’s Lifelong Learning Programme, EU
Comenius funding is available to those working in schools and
further education establishments across Europe.
The programme offers financial support towards
taking part in recognised partnership work and training courses,
including CILT courses abroad for primary
teachers.
The British Council is responsible for
administering EU Comenius funding for UK applicants -

Project
Would you like to improve your language skills
as well as benefit from spending a week in a primary school abroad?
If so, then the Primary Teachers’ Project is for you.
The British Council are working with CILT on
this exciting project, which involves spending two consecutive
weeks in France, Germany or Spain. The first week of the project is
devoted to intensive language and methodology training, while the
second is spent work shadowing in a primary school.
