Visit our Schools and Colleges week: 18-22
October
CILT is supporting the first national Visit
our Schools week. Across the country, head teachers are inviting
employers of all sectors and sizes to come and visit to find out
more about how they can work more closely together to make a
difference to young people. The week focuses the attention of
schools and employers on a shared list of national priorities,
which includes support for Modern Foreign Languages.
The week is an excellent opportunity for
schools to find new employers able to support language teaching,
and for employers to find out more about how through role models,
learning resources, projects and teacher support, they can inspire
young people to think positively about languages.
The campaign is supported by all the leading
national organisations from the world of education and employment
including the Association of School and College Leaders, the
British Chambers of Commerce, the CBI, the Federation of Small
Businesses, the Institute of Directors, the National Association of
Head Teachers and the NASUWT.
Taking part is free to all concerned. To find
