The Times Stephen Spender Prize for poetry translation 2011 is now open

Entrants are invited to submit a translation of a published poem from any language, modern or classical, into English.

There are three categories and winners will receive cash prizes.

Closing date is Friday 27 May

The Graduate Placement Scheme facilitates work placements in translation companies.

This is a flexible method of preparing postgraduate students for the world of work, making them more work-ready and employable for translation companies recruiting staff.

Routes into Languages
